"We had an overnight class reunion trip in college."

It has been many years since we all graduated from university, and now everyone in our class qualifies as early elderly.

The class reunions began with a suggestion from F-kun, who is no longer with us.

At that time, everyone was busy with work and attendance was sparse.

F-kun argued that if decades passed without meeting, it would be difficult to continue these gatherings.

So he proposed that we start young and keep these reunions going regularly.

"Eventually, more of us will retire or find the time to attend, so let's keep this light burning until then!"

Inspired by F-kun's idea, I, along with a friend’s girlfriend, have proudly helped lead these reunions as vice organizers.

Lately, we vice organizers, all women, are sometimes treated like queens—a truly gratifying experience.

A few people have been appointed as the main organizers, and our class reunions of 16 members have continued indefinitely.

This fall, it seems we are heading to Yugawara Hot Springs for a trip. They chose Yugawara, considering I moved to Kanagawa.

It’s only a 30-minute drive from my home. Unless something significant comes up, there's no reason for me not to attend.

Well, since the perk of feeling like a queen for the day is included, it looks like both she and I will be going...

I’m grateful for these friends from class.
