"To go to the Kisarazu Outlet, ..."

The other day, I went to the Kisarazu Outlet, and it was quite exhausting.

It was a mini-trip, relying on the car navigation system and asking my beloved car, Ai-chan, to do her best.

On the way, I drove on the Metropolitan Expressway. Even though it was a weekday, I was driving amidst the natural traffic congestion.

Suddenly, a large truck from the right lane, without signaling with its hazard lights, diagonally veered into the left lane.

A passenger car ahead of me quickly swerved to avoid the truck. The truck then pulled over to the shoulder.

Because the car in front of me had swerved to avoid the truck, I also slowed down to make room for the truck. It was a close call, but I

managed to avoid an accident and was relieved.

Once I crossed the Aqua Line, I was already in Chiba Prefecture. I drove comfortably to Kisarazu and arrived at the outlet.

It being a weekday, there was plenty of parking available. There weren’t many shoppers, and I could relax. (I thought to myself,

"This is such a nice place."). I quickly found Store M and reunited with Miss N.

After having various conversations with her, I left the outlet at 4:30 PM.

Now, this is where the nightmare began.

The local roads were jammed with cars heading to the entrance of the Aqua Line. My trusted navigation system gave up on suggesting

the Aqua Line route and indicated a different path.

I was heading towards the East Kanto Expressway when the navigation system identified a traffic accident and suggested another route.

In the end, the navigation system suggested 7-8 route changes. Confused and unsure of where I was going, I just kept driving.

By the time I finally reached home, it was past 8 PM.

Ai-chan, that was tough, wasn't it?

But most importantly, we made it home safely without any accidents. When I checked, Ai-chan's battery was down to 6%. She must be

really hungry.

Tomorrow, I'll give her a fast charge!
