This weekend, I went about my usual work routine and handled some miscellaneous tasks on Sunday.
However, I felt quite exhausted, and as I suspected, the filling in one of my lower teeth came out.
So, it was quite the ordeal.
Over the years, I have moved several times, always finding new clinics and hospitals near my new homes. However, I have been going to the same dentist for decades.
Both the dentist, a woman, and I have aged over the years. I simply cannot muster the courage to see anyone else for my dental care. Thus, today, I made another trip to that very dentist.
This dental clinic is located in a small town in Saitama Prefecture.
The female dentist is generous and kind, and her assistant is equally gentle and meticulous in removing tartar.
(I'm always impressed by how thorough they are.)
It reminded me once again that all work must be done with such care and sincerity.
Last weekend, I was treated with a lack of integrity at work, which troubled me.
Sometimes, people can be arrogant, believing they are above others, and I was irritated by such a person's attitude. According to my family, it seems I was underestimated.
That's why today's experience at the dentist felt particularly warm.
A small dental clinic in a small town.
Despite the distance, I am certain that I will continue to visit for a long time to come.
