I've been making various adjustments in my life for the past three years due to disturbances in my autonomic nervous system.
And even when those adjustments aren't enough, I resort to taking prescribed medication.
I feel that I am gradually getting better.
As I've written several times before, I have incorporated practices into my life that suit me, such as:
- Relaxing my body,
- Learning breathing techniques,
- Aromatherapy (to increase the 'happiness hormone', serotonin).
My breathing instructor occasionally speaks of Mr. Tenpu Nakamura. I had never heard of him before, but the instructor always praises him, saying that Mr. Nakamura is wonderful and can be called a master of yoga.
So, it was three years ago that I first came to know his name.
Recently, I learned that baseball player Shohei Ohtani was also impressed by Mr. Nakamura's books.
I wonder what aspects of Mr. Nakamura's teachings impressed Ohtani, who is different from me.
With all this in mind, I've belatedly ordered two of Mr. Nakamura's books on Amazon today.
I want to delve into these books without any preconceptions or assumptions, just with an open mind.
That too, I am looking forward to."
