"The closure of a certain horse riding club."

The other day, I went to the riding club for what would be my last visit.

I had a wonderful time with the horse that turned out to be my last ride. Both the horse and I (although I'm not sure the horse was actually smiling) ended the ride in high spirits.

I only know the name of the riding club where these horses will be moving to from now on. I can't help but feel a little sad wondering how they will be treated there. However, both horses and humans have to live robustly in the environment given to them.

Indeed, one cannot just dwell in worries and regrets. We should live our lives (or horse lives) to the fullest in these places, enjoying as much as we can. The horses too will continue to live robustly and happily!

We also had a farewell party where a dozen or so people gathered. We even took a commemorative photo. The owner mentioned considering pulling a carriage in Karuizawa. I heard they have a small lodge there.

So this summer, I'll go to Karuizawa to see the owner and his wife again and hopefully see those smiles. I'm looking forward to it!
