"Searching for a new riding club is difficult."

It’s mid-April, and it’s finally starting to feel like spring. The pleasant weather lightens my spirit.

The other day, I visited a riding club in Mito and told them that I would like to attend twice a month from June onwards.

The reason being, it's too far from Nakagun in Kanagawa to Mito.

Driving on the Joban Expressway, the precious riding time at the club makes both my body and mind feel comfortable.

When riding, you can't think about your worries; you must focus solely on the horse and heed the instructor’s advice.

That's why, after riding, I truly feel exhilarated.

I am very grateful to my home riding club, the instructor who coaches me, and the horse I use.

If possible, I do not want to break this relationship.

However, physically, it's far. The instructor is also worried about this. So, he suggested that I look for a new club where I'm moving.

How about the S Riding Club in Kanagawa? It seems like a good club.

Well, what do you think? I responded.

It's not easy to find a riding club that suits me.

I've moved between several riding clubs before and have visited various clubs as a guest rider.

The triangle relationship between the horse, the instructor, and the rider—if it fits perfectly, it's the best.

But it’s often a case of "too short for a belt, too long for a sash."
