Usually, my horse riding life progresses with me riding once a week at a riding club in Mito, but this week, due to various circumstances,
it has become a challenging schedule for me, riding three times a week.
Riding three times a week is something I haven't done since a few years ago, when I was cramming for the Grade 1 dressage exam and rode three times in the week before the exam.
Of course, maintenance of my body after riding is necessary, so riding three times a week has become quite a hard schedule for me.
Today, there was a lesson with Mr. R, and I participated as well.
Riding a horse for the first time always comes with its fair share of nervousness,
but the horse was very calm in both the stable and the wash area, and remained obedient in the arena.
Riding such a horse significantly reduces my tension, allowing me to relax and enjoy riding. Although the weather forecast predicted rain, it cleared up during my ride, making for a very pleasant time.
Taking a different highway than the usual Joban Expressway also felt like a mini trip.
However, I still particularly enjoy driving with the view of the sunset and Mount Fuji from the Joban Expressway. Even after moving, I plan to make the effort to travel from Nakagun in Kanagawa Prefecture to Mito to see White-kun.
Lately, I've been seriously thinking about cherishing what I'm passionate about, no matter how modest it may be.
Becoming an adult and then a senior, I've come to realize how important it is to have something to devote oneself to.
I intend to keep cherishing these modest feelings forever.
