"Remembering my friend from the Crane Riding Club."

Just today, I got back home after riding at five in the afternoon.

If you're a rider, you're likely familiar with the "Equestrian Club Crane". There's no doubt that Crane has played a role in expanding the reach of equestrian enthusiasts. That's why it is said, "for better or for worse, it's Crane" (which is unfortunate).

While I am not a member of Crane, it was the first club I joined, so I have a deep attachment to it. Because there are so many members, I get to meet a wide variety of people. Since I kept a reasonable distance from almost everyone, I don't have any bad memories.

Except for one person, a woman who was over 70 at the time (and had started horse riding from that age), with whom I have kept in touch. Even now.

She should be almost 90 years old now, but she's quite unique and very lovely (and still alive and well).

"Today, in the shower, I used my shampoo. When I came out of the shower, a male member told me I smelled really good," she happily

recounted.

"Oh, wow! That must've been nice. What kind of shampoo are you using?" I asked.

"This is the shampoo."

Upon closer look, it appeared to be a Bvlgari shampoo.

"My daughter reserved a suite at Hotel XX for my birthday celebration, and this shampoo was there when I stayed," she explained.

So, I ended up ordering the Bvlgari shampoo for her, as she doesn't use a computer. One day, she made a request that surprised me.

At the clubhouse, they were showing a video of a "Spanish Riding School," and she expressed that she wanted that DVD.

I found out that it was hard to get on Amazon Japan. So, I checked Amazon Germany, even though I only knew a smattering of German and

just had a dictionary to help. But I wanted to fulfill her request, no matter what.

In retrospect, it was reckless, but I somehow managed to get the "die SPANISCHE HOFREIT SCHULE" and "majestic WHITE HORSES" DVDs on Amazon Germany. Moreover, I even purchased the DVD with Japanese subtitles (I can't help but think it was purely good luck).

Thanks to her insatiable curiosity, I got to watch these two DVDs and learned a lot about the history of horses, what happened to them during the war, and many other things I didn't know.

I'm always tossed around by her whims, but I enjoy it.

So, I'm looking forward to the next challenge she'll throw at me...
