I've been infected with the coronavirus for a month now.
My family member's loss of taste has recovered. Until recently, he had been coughing, so he went to the clinic and got prescribed
medication.
However, he still have hearing loss. I'm plagued with an intense feeling of exhaustion and have no motivation to do anything.
Over this past month, so many things have changed and I've had several realizations.
To cut to the chase, we've decided to move out of our high-rise apartment. We haven't settled on our next destination, but after several
years of consideration, we've come to the conclusion of moving to Minamiboso.
I believe there will be numerous tasks ahead, but we intend to tackle each issue slowly and steadily.
Ever since we decided to relocate, I've been regaining my spirits bit by bit (which is a relief).
If we can find a place with even a small garden, I'd love to grow flowers and herbs, in a house where the wind breezes through.
We're thinking of moving into a renovated single-story house. Being seniors, we'd prefer a warm region in Uchibo rather than Sotobo. We
don't want to be too close to the sea, but being too far from civilization would mean challenges accessing hospitals and shopping facilities. We want a place that strikes a balance in distance.
For trips to the office in Tokyo, we'll use the express train, only venturing out when absolutely necessary.
Of course, I've thought about the horse too. By the time we move, the East Kanto Expressway connecting Itako to Hokota should be open,
so I plan on continuing to visit the riding club I'm a member of!
Well, looking forward to reuniting with horse riding next week!
