"Listening to R. Strauss performed by the NHK Symphony Orchestra."

At the N Symphony, there's a small booklet placed, and reading it is also a pleasure.

Mr. Morihide Katayama, who wrote the "100-year history of the N Symphony," is affectionately referred to by me as "Mr. Deep Knowledge

Uncle." His passion for music and his profound understanding of music in general is nothing short of astonishing.

(He truly is an incredible Deep Knowledge Uncle!)

Given his background, it's no surprise that the 100-year history of the N Symphony is such a compelling read.

This year's season tickets also offer a very good seat, situated diagonally forward on the left.

The performance was very easy to listen to. And, as expected, the presence of the concertmaster, Fuminori Shinozaki, was especially

prominent.

For the encore, the German pianist Martin Helmchen played "Prophet Bird" from Schumann's "Forest Scenes," Op. 82, in a leisurely and

fantastical manner.

After almost always spending time at home, I was finally able to get out.

Both my mind and body fully enjoyed this long-awaited day off.

The harsh summer of this year has come to an end,

And my autumn has begun to unfold...
