Just bewildered by the evolution and progress of cars...

Ai-chan told me that my beloved car has also been replaced by a new model.

Normally, this should be a cause for joy, but it's only been three days, and I'm already complaining that Ai-chan was easier to drive.

I feel sorry for the new car, White-kun, so I'll stop grumbling. Just like with horses,

there's always a certain tension when riding a horse for the first time. I've ridden many horses, so I hope I'll get used to driving this new car, White-kun, in time.

I've been driving for over 40 years. I should be a veteran, but I don't carry myself with that kind of grace. It's troublesome.

The first car I ever drove holds a lot of memories. Automatic cars weren't as common back then, so I had to change gears while driving.

In the cold winters, I had to pull the choke to start the engine and needed antifreeze. The car would stop at railway crossings,

and I had to keep pressing the accelerator pedal to prevent the engine from stopping. (That was quite a hassle.)

I was very surprised when cars started coming with built-in navigation systems.

However, my friends around me complained that these systems were difficult to operate.

(Naturally, I also struggled to keep up with the evolution and advancements of cars.)

And now, one of my joys while driving, listening to my favorite songs, has become impossible.

Why does the world, not just cars, change so quickly?

I used to listen to cassette tapes while driving, then moved on to CDs, and later used a USB to play music. But now, even that USB is apparently no longer usable.

How am I supposed to use all these different devices on the car's dashboard?

That's why, both on my way to and from, while driving on the expressway, I end up listening to ABBA's songs all the time.

I'm not sure if it's convenient or inconvenient.

And with that, I let out a long sigh."
