One of my modest pleasures is to stop by a bookstore whenever I have spare time, browse through books, and if I find one I like, I buy it.
Then I head to a nearby cafe to read it while enjoying a cup of tea.
Because of this, I tend to know quite a bit about which cafe serves the best food or drinks. These small moments are part of my simple joys in life. It would be even better if Ai-chan could charge herself too.
Now, as for the "JRA Dressage Training" e-book, I've imported it onto my iPad. It's convenient to use when I'm out and about or at study
meetings.
For when I read alone at home, I converted the e-book into a paper book. It was around 110 pages, so the process didn't take too much
time.
The finished product, printed on A4 copy paper, feels substantial in weight. I inserted these pages into a binder, thus creating a physical book. But it has turned out to be quite heavy to carry around.
I underline the parts I consider important with a red pencil. There's something satisfying about this act.
And even my exhausted brain seems to become slightly invigorated by it... perhaps.
Today, I'm planning to have a relaxed day of reading.
