"I am grappling with hazard maps every day."

Going outside, I can truly feel that autumn is deepening.

As we reach the middle of October, the changing seasons can be felt on my skin.

Only about two more months left in this year...

Nevertheless, I find myself checking the hazard map daily. This is because part of the location where I had decided to move

is categorized as a special disaster prevention area.

"The assumption is based on a massive earthquake," says the agent, but that answer seems meaningless.

I had been cautious only about the presence of the sea, considering how to escape from tsunamis, but neglected to consider the presence of mountains and rivers. Mountains bring the risk of landslides, and rivers bring the possibility of flooding due to rebellious waters.

While I want to live benefiting from nature, there are things like the above to be cautious about.

Living in a high-rise apartment has exposed my naivety concerning natural disasters.

So, if I want to find a place to live in a small town in Nakagun, I am engaging in the task of matching locations with the hazard map.

I love maps, but I wasn’t a fan of hazard maps. (laughs)

While I’m engaged in this, more severe things are happening in the world. It seems that in Israel, yet again, many people are becoming

victims.

Everyone, surely, wishes for a world without conflict...
