Last fall, I went to the Equestrian Park with my horse-loving friends.
Various tents were set up at the park, and we three horse friends had a great time.
There was a store, ⚪︎⚪︎, which made custom-made riding boots. It was run by the person I had heard about, who makes the boots.
As we listened to the explanation, I started to feel like it might be a good idea to get new boots.
My horse friend and I are the same age. We talked about how these could be our last boots,
and decided to order them and improve our skills next year.
When the three of us get together, we're as noisy and excited as schoolgirls.
Excited, we all decided to get boots made.
And yesterday, the boots arrived. However, my friend who ordered them with me is still in the hospital, so we can't celebrate together.
Thinking of my friend's situation, I've been reluctant to talk about horses and have mostly been communicating via email every day.
But she was the first to email me, asking, "Have your boots arrived?"
I was grateful for her thoughtfulness and simply replied, "Yes, they have!"
It was a very short conversation, but it was enough.
It's short, but it's true that feelings can be conveyed through words.
