"Today, I'm getting ready to go riding and heading far away!
Starting the day after tomorrow, it'll be July, and summer hours start (the horse riding times will change).
Japan's hot summer has become hard to bear, both for horses and people.
Certainly, riding in the early morning is a wonderful thing.
Riding in the crisp morning air truly feels good.
However, it's not so simple to reach the riding club by 6 am.
After taking care of household chores and other tasks, riding often happens in the late afternoon, around 5 pm. This works best for both the horse and myself.
After riding today, I'm going to a Jazz café, located a bit away from the club.
Apparently, they have fantastic speakers.
Being able to spend an early summer evening listening to Jazz, ah, what a happiness!
Whether it's Stan Getz, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Benny Goodman, or Ella Fitzgerald, it doesn't matter.
Being present in that moment, that's what's important!"
