Whenever I finish a journey, I find that work has piled up in my absence.
Last week, I spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the office, swamped with work.
(It can't be helped!)
When I travel abroad, I write modest travelogues to preserve my memories. I've already decided on my final travel destination.
Countries numbered 1 to 9 are the ones I wish to visit. The 10th destination will be a country that my spouse wishes to visit.
Once all the travels are completed, I plan to compile these precious travelogues into a book.
(If it ends prematurely, I'll compile the travelogues I have until then.)
During my pre-COVID trip to 'Spain and Portugal', I created two small A5 hardcover photo books.
I intend to make two photo books for my recent trip to the 'Hawaiian Islands' as well.
It's uncertain how many photo books I'll end up creating, but I'd like to give them to my eldest son and daughter.
I want them to know that their parents enjoyed life in this way.
I hope they occasionally reminisce about it.
I plan to turn two of the travelogues into books.
With these records of the life we lived and the experiences and time we shared, let's return to the earth.
These are my modest yet profound thoughts..."
