Yesterday, I mostly finished packing for my trip.
I will be away from home for a while, so I bought flowers to prepare.
(You might wonder why I'm buying flowers when I'm going to be away from home.)
For the Buddhist altar, I have flowers. For the Shinto shrine, I have sakaki. In the living room, I have flowers of my choice.
I can't leave the house with wilted flowers on display, even though I'll be away.
Of course, I plan to go to the office tomorrow to change the flowers.
Flowers that soothe the heart.
When I go to the florist,
When I'm choosing flowers at the florist,
When I have a little chat with the florist,
When I bring the flowers home and arrange them passionately,
These moments are precious.
Next year, I will move to a small town in Nakagun, Kanagawa.
There, I will have a garden, not very big, but it's there.
When I first visited it last month, it was overgrown with weeds and the garden seemed lifeless.
Fortunately, there's a parking space, but getting out of the car was difficult due to the overgrown rose thorns.
I'm thinking of revitalizing the garden (which will probably energize me too).
I plan to transplant the balcony herbs I'm currently growing in planters into the ground.
Once the garden is in order, I'll have the person in my house who claims to be a barbecue master, who is
my husband, starts the fire.
I'm planning to invite friends over for a housewarming party...
