is "Can we use body parts separately?"

Last week, you emphasized the importance of "1. Sitting position, 2. Legs, 3. Reins," remember? Of course, I do.

"You need to be conscious about lowering your hands holding the reins when the horse bucks, whether in a trot or canter,

and your seat lifts up. Lowering your hands when your seat rises makes it appear as if the reins are steady and not moving."

Interesting, I see.

By keeping your center of gravity low, engaging your core, not moving your shoulders up and down, and leaning back from the waist rather than just the chest and shoulders, you can prevent leaning too heavily on the horse. This way, you'll achieve a clean, swift start in a canter.

Indeed, even horses prefer a smooth start.

For a right canter, push with the right inner seat and left outer rein for initiation, make the horse assume an inner position,

slow down to a walk, and then stop.

Oh, I see...

All of this is being carefully instructed, but it feels like a test of patience between the instructor and me.

Once mastered, it'll undoubtedly lead to a beautiful riding style.
