Today is Saturday, the weekend.
Yesterday, I met up with my family member at the office, who had been working on training in Hiroshima.
And both of us just gradually work through the pile of work we have accumulated.
The work seems like an endless cycle, but I'm thankful even for that.
As long as I am healthy and able to work, I plan to continue working for a few more years, and if these small tasks contribute to the world, I'm all the more pleased.
Finishing what I need to do and then quietly returning to the earth. That would be a very satisfying life!
Last time, the instructor kept pointing out my faults, but I don't have the luxury or time to be downhearted.
So, I'm always trying to think positively. I remember the instructor's words, 'You have surprisingly good balance.
That’s why, even when you ride dangerously, you don't fall off the horse.' They seemed impressed.
Yes, I may not be very athletic, but balance is my one special skill.
It's one of my characteristics.
I never knew this sense of balance would be so helpful in horseback riding, but I'm grateful for it.
Apparently, this balance is also useful in human relationships.
Even in environments almost entirely surrounded by people with ADHD or ASD, both sides manage to get by without much difficulty, thanks to this sense of balance.
I've only recently become aware of this. (Whether this late realization is due to my insensitivity or my easygoing nature, I don't know.)
Well, let's have another fun day today."
