As the year draws to a close, there are only a few days left.
Reflecting on this past year, I realize that I have earnestly and sincerely tackled the tasks given to me to the best of my abilities.
If the coming year could be the same, I would be grateful.
Since the onset of COVID-19, I have been unable to meet with friends, but we have decided to gather for a small reunion in January, a group of four, all connected through English.
In January, there was just one day when everyone was free, and so we quickly settled on that date.
These are friends I met while aspiring to be an English interpreter. Despite my efforts, I didn't become an interpreter, but these friends have always treated me kindly.
Human relationships are mysterious. Despite wanting to maintain a bond for a long time, some connections cannot be sustained.
Conversely, some relationships are thin yet endure over time.
There's a friend who almost became estranged, but now we are best friends.
Next year, I have a major event - moving to Kanagawa (quite an exaggeration to call it that!).
I hope for many wonderful encounters and events.
I want to maintain the sensitivity to appreciate beautiful encounters and to enjoy and rejoice in wonderful events, while cherishing my everyday life. That would be the best.
